Ella Claus
2022 Softball Outfield Power Hitter
My name is Ella Claus and I am a Senior at Redmond High School in Redmond, WA. I play travel ball for the California Suncats (Jimenez 16U & 18U) as an outfielder and lefty that can hit for power, slap or lay down a solid bunt.
I am Canadian, I moved from Ottawa, Canada to the US when I was 8 years old. I love to travel, play ball and spend time with my friends, my twin sister and older brother.
I am excited to play softball at the next level and find the right college program to continue to grow both my game and who I am as a student athlete/person.
I enjoy math, reading and learning new things. I am entering my Senior year with a 4.0 (unweighted) GPA.
I am an athlete at my core, one that loves to train and better my softball IQ. I have been part of strong softball programs that have helped to push and challenge me to be the best I can be physically, mentally and as a teammate.
I am a founding member of the “Power of We” group since I was 10 years old. We mainly focus on helping the homeless in Seattle. Every year we serve Thanksgiving dinner to the homeless and other meals during the year.
